Report: Russia to raise gas sales to East, LNG output

MOSCOW, Oct 12 (PRIME) -- Russia's gas industry is diversifying to increase eastwards sales and develop production of liquefied natural gas (LNG), Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told channel Rossiya 24 on Thursday.

"Our development vector mostly implies sales to the East, development of LNG that may be delivered to any place in the world by transport. Global diversification of our gas industry is taking place at the moment," Novak said.

The official also said that the main goal of the OPEC+ alliance efforts is to balance demand and supply on the oil market.
